Principal Message
The progress of a community can be measured by women's achievements and enjoying equal social status in society. No nation can achieve progress without the participation of women in the process of betterment. Women must be given the same education as men to walk the path of development and progress. Keeping in mind that women are the pillars of a cultured society, the founder of the D K Health and Welfare Society opened doors of education by starting colleges for girls’ students from rural, remote, and impoverished areas. The society established S Chandra Mahila Mahavidyalya Saakoli in 2013 with the sole aim of fulfilling its vision and dreams. To achieve this goal of providing higher education to the girls, the college has been attempting since the inception of the institution. The college is focusing on the empowerment of women in all walks of life. As the Principal of this college, I work for the all-round development of the students by organizing various programs and activities for their holistic development. In order to bring about a positive change in the minds of teachers and students, I have been trying to cultivate a healthy atmosphere for teaching and learning. The institution will play a vital role in fulfilling the dreams of students and creating a path to fly high with dreams and ambitions in their minds. I am grateful to all the respected members of the management, the staff, and the students for working collaboratively to shine the name of this institution. S.Chandra Mahila Mahavidyalaya Sakoli was established in 2013 with an aim to impart quality higher education to girl students from impoverished, rural, and inaccessible regions. The college offers courses in the faculties of Arts and Home Science. It is run by D.K Health & Welfare Society. Our institution is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Nagpur.
The college aims to provide education to socially, economically, and educationally disadvantaged students, and to attain this aim we have been striving hard since the inception of the institute.

Our college is situated in Sakoli which is on National Highway (NH6). Sakoli is about 40 kilometres away from Bhandara. Bhandara district is well known for its agriculture and ample water resources. So, the students come from rural areas and have diverse backgrounds. To maintain an academic environment in the college attention is always paid to effective teaching and facilitating learning.
The college offers free-of-cost guidance in preparing for various competitive exams under the aegis of the Competitive Exams Guidance Centre. The guest speakers are invited to deliver a talk on their expertise. The students are informed about the Exams, Paper Patterns, Results, Advertisements, Method of Application, and best Study Material.
